We really don’t believe in having standard packages. You don’t have to pick from set menu choices, you don’t have to have a minimum number. However, we do believe in our starting point being pretty jam packed!
Here’s what’s included no matter how you shape your day…
- Exclusive venue hire of barn, courtyard, fire pit deck and large open field
- Ceremony furniture
- Wedding reception furniture
- Parking for up to 24 cars
- Licensed Bar
- Full staff team
- Fire pit with unlimited firewood
- Fairy lights
- Freedom to choose your own caterers
- Coveted list of amazing recommended suppliers*
- Supplier co-ordination*
- On the day management*
*These bits are truly invaluable and quite often over-looked when thinking ‘we can do this ourselves.’ We have had more than one couple book with us after starting out at a DIY hire venue, after it just became too much!
What will it cost?
Once you have your expected daytime numbers scroll through this lot and see which structure fits your budget.
n.b. we always recommend booking a pagoda for the courtyard outside the barn which allows for a wet weather plan during any room changeovers e.g day to night. It can also house your bar and guest book table, freeing up more space inside the barn.
Whilst our barn at Blossom Barn can only seat 60, we can cater for larger numbers in the structures below on our adjacent land (you still get to use the barn and courtyard too.)
The structure included utilises the majority of the space during the day, so there may be tables on top of the dancefloor until later and whilst there is space for your cake table and bar you won’t fit much more in. If you like the idea of leaving the dance floor clear during the day or you’d like a chill out seating area, then you will need the next size up! Maximum numbers will be achieved by having long tables, you’ll find maximum numbers on round tables in brackets.
Tepees are a perfectly rustic backdrop for your wedding day; they come wrapped with fairy lights and can be small & intimate or joined together to create much larger spaces.
Marquee weddings are the lowest priced option and provide a perfect blank canvas for you to put your stamp on, they come fully lined with a wooden floor and brand new carpet. They also have much more useable space so these maximum numbers are on either long or round tables.
Larger marquees are available up to 300 guests, our supplier would be happy to supply you with a personal design and quote.
Yurts are truly unique spaces, a round wooden structure with a light coloured canvas. They look spectacular and come with fairy light canopy as well as coloured uplighters. They are the most expensive option but equally, a real show -stopper!
These traditional marquees provide a lighter large space but with a rustic feel given the traditional wooden poles and guy ropes. These are the only two sizes that we can fit in the woodland.
For numbers larger than 120 daytime guests please enquire directly.
Please note; we don’t include heating in these prices as 90% of our weddings do not require heating so it doesn’t seem fair to charge everyone for it. If you’d like your structure heated please add £300 to these totals.
The prices above include everything you need for your venue for the day… all you need to do now is decide…
HOW TO KEEP YOUR GUESTS HYDRATED
You may choose to provide no drink, one drink, four drinks for your guests or you may choose to have a free bar for your entire day. The choice is yours.
We have four drinks packages to choose from or we also have the option to provide your own daytime alcohol. (Supplement applies but would certainly save money on having a free bar all day!)
We also offer other ways of providing drinks for your guests; bar tabs to cover full or half price drinks to a budget of your choosing, drinks tokens, additional drinks (shots before the first dance?) or even a free bar.
WHAT TO FEED YOUR GUESTS
- AFTERNOON TEA
- HOG ROAST
- STREET FOOD
- WOODFIRED PIZZA
These are just a selection of ideas; we have caterers that we highly recommend.
However, if you find your perfect caterer on one of your many trips to wedding fairs, then you’re welcome to bring them along – they’d be very welcome, especially if there are leftovers!
TOP TIP; check what they need you to provide in terms of catering marquee, crockery, cutlery, serving staff and power – these would be additional costs for some caterers you may find.
Being a Rock n Roll bride is all about how you feel in your heart. It’s about using your wedding to express who you are, to embrace your unique breed of weird and to take that heart-fluttering all -encompassing feeling of love that you have for each other and celebrating it in your own way. It’s not about being a rebel or even thinking of the most ‘out-there’ ideas you can. It’s about planning a day that reflects you and your partner and declaring your love in your own special way.
